Minting an NFT on EdaFace is simple and user friendly. Follow these ten steps to create and mint your NFT on the EdaFace NFT Marketplace.
Step 1: Complete the NFT Preparation Process
Before minting, complete the first three stages of NFT production:
Decide which blockchain to use
Choose an NFT marketplace
Create your NFT
You can also use the Product Data Checklist for NFT Creation to ensure that all important details of your digital product are properly prepared.
Step 2: Click on “Create”
After connecting your wallet to the EdaFace NFT Marketplace, click the “Create” button to open the minting page.
Step 3: Choose a Minting Format
EdaFace offers seven minting formats:
Single Minting
UniMultiple Minting
PolyMultiple Image
PolyMultiple Audios
PolyMultiple Videos
Layer by Layer Minting
Lazy Minting
Select the format that best suits your NFT project.
Step 4: Upload Your Digital Asset
Upload the file you want to mint as an NFT.
For audio and video NFTs, you can also upload thumbnail files if you want custom backgrounds.
You can preview your uploaded asset at any time by clicking “Preview” or “View.”
Step 5: Confirm the Blockchain Network
Select and confirm the blockchain network you want to use for minting your NFT.
Step 6: Fill in Your NFT Details
Provide the required information for your NFT, including:
(a) Name
Choose a short and memorable name for your NFT.
(b) Brief Description
Write a short description explaining your NFT or the reason behind its creation.
Although EdaFace does not limit description length, it is recommended to keep it under 35 words.
(c) Collection Folder
You can organise your NFTs into collections by clicking “Select Collection.”
(d) Category
Choose the correct category and subcategory for your NFT.
EdaFace has three main categories:
Art
Collectible
Gaming
Your NFT will appear in the corresponding marketplace arena.
(e) Royalty
Set the royalty percentage you want to earn from future resales of your NFT.
New creators may choose a lower royalty or 0% as a promotional strategy.
(f) Lazy Minting
Indicate whether you want to use Lazy Minting.
(g) NFT Quantity
Enter the number of NFT copies you want to mint.
Please note:
Single Minting allows only one NFT at a time.
For Layer by Layer Minting, the number of NFTs depends on the number of uploaded layers.
(h) Whitelist Users
You may pre approve specific wallet addresses to access your NFT.
(i) Website and Social Media Links
You can add links to your website, portfolio, or social media pages for promotion and visibility.
