EdaFace BCL allows creators to use blockchain technology to produce and trade their creative works.
There are three main kinds of Blockchain Literature on EdaFace:
1. Blockchain Books (b-Books)
b-Books are electronic books (e-books) that have been converted into blockchain-based books.
Books of any size can be produced as b-Books using EdaFace blockchain technology.
A b-Book is protected by blockchain technology. Its ownership can be verified and traced, making it harder for someone to copy, fake, or claim ownership of the book.
A b-Book also benefits from other features of blockchain technology that are not available with regular e-books.
Free Reading Time (FRT)
Free Reading Time (FRT) allows authors to let potential buyers read part of a book for free before buying it.
For example, an author can set the first 5 pages as FRT. A reader can then read those pages to get an idea of the book before deciding whether to buy it.
b-Book Formats
b-Books are available in two formats:
a. NFT Format
A b-Book can look like an NFT but contain many pages. Readers can flip through the pages just like a regular book.
b. PDF Format
A b-Book can also look like a regular PDF e-book. Readers can open and read it like any other PDF, while it still has the benefits of being a blockchain-based book.
Documents
Other documents, such as certificates, contracts, and agreements, can also be minted through EdaFace Blockchain Literature.
This allows these documents to benefit from blockchain technology, including secure records and verifiable ownership.
