AVAX price has taken a hit from the September 15 crypto sell-off, with sentiment around recovering altcoins getting shaken after the U.S. Senate failed to advance the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act in a 49–50 procedural cloture vote, below the 60 votes required.
AVAX Price Holds Key $7 Support
The reaction has put AVAX back at an important level. As long as $7 holds in September, the broader rally that started in June 2026 remains intact.
But a break below $7 changes the setup. AVAX could then test its ascending trendline, and losing that support could turn the structure bearish and expose the token to another sharp decline.
A move similar to the May 2026 fall can’t be ruled out under that scenario. $5 or even lower levels could come into view.
Avalanche Adds Tokenized Stocks To DeFi
AVAX price action isn’t the only thing developing around Avalanche. Recently, the network announced that permissionless tokenized stocks are coming to its network. Pharaoh is planning to bring 24/7 trading of tokenized U.S. stocks to its decentralized exchange, built natively on Avalanche.
The move would give traders another way to access U.S. equities onchain while connecting those assets to liquidity across Avalanche’s DeFi ecosystem.
AVAX Price Needs 200-Day EMA Reclaim
If $7 stops the decline and buyers regain control, AVAX price could move back toward the 200-day EMA band.
From there, $8.50 and $10.00 become the nearest upside levels under the provided setup. That would keep the June recovery alive despite the latest market shock.
For now, AVAX price is caught between a $7 defense and renewed downside risk. The next reaction around that level could decide whether the recovery continues or the chart starts another deeper correction.
