Signs of a change in direction came to the fore in Ethereum’s long-standing weak outlook against Bitcoin. The recovery in technical indicators, renewed inflows into spot Ethereum ETFs in the US, and the network’s clear superiority in asset tokenization indicate a significant shift in market sentiment.
Change of direction in the technical outlook
Market analyst and technical analyst Aksel Kibar states that there is a significant transformation in the ETH/BTC parity. The parity recovered from the local bottom at 0.0269 and rose to 0.02918. This move strengthened the possibility of Ethereum breaking its ongoing weakness against Bitcoin.
A similar picture emerged on the dollar-based chart. Kibar emphasizes that the ETH/USD parity broke above the horizontal neckline after establishing a medium-term base structure. Ethereum reacted strongly from around the $1,510 region, rising as high as $1,880 and turning the $1,842 into the important support area.
If the $1,842 level is maintained in the technical outlook, the next confirmed target of the bullish formation stands out as $2,163.
Ethereum continues to dominate tokenization
The second leg of Ethereum’s strengthening is its dominance in the field of tokenization, which enables real-world assets to be represented on the blockchain. According to RWA.xyz data, the total value of traditional capital tokenized on Ethereum reached $17.1 billion. This level surpassed the total of the closest competitors, including Solana and BNB Chain.
Mini glossary: Tokenization is the creation of a digital representation of traditional assets such as stocks, bonds or fund shares on the blockchain. RWA.xyz is known as a data platform that tracks the size and distribution of real-world assets in blockchain networks.
BUIDL fund of BlackRock, one of the world’s largest asset management companies, also works on Ethereum. In addition, smart contracts of 1,373 major issuers are included in the network. This structure provides not only visibility but also a long-term usage basis for Ethereum. Transactions carried out by traditional institutions on the network support the demand for ETH as they require fees to be paid with the native crypto asset.
| Indicator | Level |
|---|---|
| Tokenized asset value on Ethereum | $17.1 billion |
| Number of major issuers in the network | 1,373 |
| BlackRock fund | BUIDL |
ETF inflows accelerated again
The third supporting element was the capital returned to traditional investment products. SoSoValue data shows that the outflows seen in May and June are fully balanced by current demand. Thus, a stable inflow trend was again established in Ethereum-linked funds.
Spot Ethereum ETFs recorded net inflows of $103.90 million in the week ending July 24. This data pointed to a positive picture for the third consecutive week. While the total net asset value of the funds reached 10.17 billion dollars, the weekly transaction volume remained at 2.78 billion dollars.
Net inflows into Ethereum ETFs for three consecutive weeks reveal that institutional demand did not weaken during the summer period.
The technical recovery, the dominant position in the tokenization market and the strengthening institutional interest through the ETF channel came to the fore in the same period. This concurrent chart has raised the possibility that Ethereum will emerge from Bitcoin’s shadow in the summer of 2026.
