XRP continues to trade below the critical resistance at $1.12 despite several data supporting its technical outlook in the short term. While the price is around $1,107 in Bitstamp data, the balance between buyers and sellers has not yet been clearly disrupted.
The recent price action signaled a regaining of the support zone between $1.0777 and $1.0700. The 0.618 Fibonacci retracement level within this area stands out as $1.0761. The area, which previously worked as resistance, has now turned into a support area that needs to be protected in the short term.
DukesMarketAnalysis notes that XRP has reached the $1.12 resistance zone again, but buyers have yet to produce a strong breakout. According to the analyst, a sustained move above $1.12 could significantly strengthen the bullish sentiment. On the other hand, a horizontal trend between 1,077 and 1,070 dollars may also paint a constructive picture.
If $1.12 is exceeded, the market’s attention may turn to the July 4 peak of $1.1843. If the resistance cannot be broken, XRP can be expected to remain in the current compression range.
On-chain data also offered elements that supported the demand side. According to Santiment data shared by Ali Martinez, the total assets of wallets holding high amounts of XRP increased from approximately 3.71 billion to 3.83 billion XRP between July 11 and July 15. During this period, it was seen that major investors collected approximately 70 million XRP.
In the same period, the decline in supply in the stock markets attracted attention. XRP reserves on Binance have fallen from over 3 billion XRP in late 2025 to approximately 2.61 billion XRP, stabilizing at their lowest levels since February 2026, according to CryptoQuant data. Lower reserves on exchanges indicate a decrease in the amount of coins available for sale in the short term.
Technical indicators offer a more cautious outlook. The overall signal for XRP/USD remains neutral in the TradingView summary. While the 14-period RSI is at 48.57, this outlook indicates neither overbought nor oversold. The fact that ADX remained at 13.29 also indicated that the trend strength was weak.
Although short-term moving averages produce a buy signal, the 50, 100 and 200 period averages continue to give a sell signal between $ 1.14 and $ 1.46. Therefore, the market is closely monitoring the $1.10 to $1.13 band. If persistence above $1.12 is achieved, $1.1843 may come to the fore again; Otherwise, it seems likely that the squeeze will continue.
