FC Barcelona with Europe-based cryptocurrency platform WhiteBIT; signed a five-year strategic agreement to develop new projects in the fields of fan interaction, digital finance and sports technologies. The collaboration, which will continue until 2030, brings together the cryptocurrency ecosystem and one of the world’s most influential sports clubs under the same roof.
WhiteBIT, which continues its activities in Türkiye through WhiteBIT TR, has strengthened its position as the Official Cryptocurrency Platform Partner of FC Barcelona within the scope of the agreement. The collaboration will not be limited to the club’s men’s football team, women’s football team and basketball team; It will also include innovation-focused projects through the Barça Innovation Hub.
With this partnership, the parties aim not only to increase brand visibility but also to develop applicable and scalable crypto solutions in the sports industry. In this regard, it is planned to implement new initiatives that will strengthen the fan experience, support the digital education field and highlight interactive technologies.
In his evaluation of the agreement, FC Barcelona CEO Manel del Río stated that the collaboration with WhiteBIT strengthens the club’s strategic partnership approach with leading companies on a global scale. Del Río pointed out that the cryptocurrency industry is a growing field with significant strategic potential in the coming years.

On the other hand, it was stated that WhiteBIT TR is the subsidiary of WhiteBIT in Türkiye, and due to local regulations, some privileges within the scope of the cooperation between FC Barcelona and WhiteBIT may not be offered to users in Türkiye. It was stated that WhiteBIT TR services are structured in accordance with the regulations in force in Türkiye, and some global products and services may be limited or not offered in Türkiye. It was stated that the scope of products and services may change depending on licensing processes and developments in regulations.
