Grayscale Investments, the digital currency asset manager, is hiring for its ETF team ahead of an upcoming ruling in its lawsuit with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The asset manager is seeking a senior associate to support the development of its ETF business, with the job posting stating that the role will be “on the ground floor of building an ETF issuer”. Grayscale sued the SEC last year when the regulator rejected its proposal to convert its flagship fund into a spot bitcoin ETF. A ruling on the lawsuit is expected soon and could impact future filings for spot Bitcoin funds.
