Bitget, a crypto trading platform, is expanding to the Middle East and plans to hire between 30 and 60 new staff over the next two years. The firm has opened an office in Dubai, is considering looking at opportunities in Bahrain and the UAE, and is researching license applications to operate in Middle Eastern markets. The hiring process has already started, with staff hired for middle- and back-office roles. This move tracks Bitget’s launch in Turkey earlier this year and its partnership with crypto custody firm Copper’s ClearLoop network in May.
