The official release of the Markets in Crypto Asset Law (MiCA) in the official Journal of the European Union(OJEU) on Friday marks the initial implementation of pioneering regulations for licensing related to crypto. The law followed by relevant regulations mandates Crypto Wallet providers must verify the identity of customers during fund transfers, & grant licenses to crypto trades. Similarly, Exchanges & Wallet providers help operations throughout the European Union & amend new rules on governance & finances for Stablecoin issuers. The rules for licensing for Stablecoin, & anti-money laundering will apply from December 30, 2024.
