Binance helped seize $4.4M crypto from North Korean cybercrime groups. Binance partnered to disrupt the illegal income of four North Korean entities under sanctions. The firm said, it took action against the bridge accounts of the people in the past, similarly, handled the accounts legally with warrants and law enforcement. On May 23, the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the Department of Treasury announced that it sanctioned four entities and witnessed one individual supporting the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK) in malevolent cyber activities.
