The Crypto Task Force team of the US Securities and Stock Exchange Commission (SEC) reminded that in May 12, Washington will hold a round table meeting in DC centers. The event aims to allow them to share their opinions of leading company representatives of the traditional financial sector and participants operating in the tokens of crypto assets. The meeting was announced before and we gave the dates.
SEC Crypto Meeting
Within the scope of the meeting, executives from major financial institutions such as Blackrock, Fidelity and Nasdaq will also include representatives of companies operating in the field of blockchain. One of the panel sessions will be held under the title “Evolution of Finance: Capital Markets 2.0, and will be moderated by Jeff Dinwoodie from Cravath. This session will include names such as Robert Mitchnick of Blackrock, Cynthia Lo Bessette on behalf of Fidelity and Eun Ah Choi on behalf of Nasdaq.
In addition, Invesco, Franklin Templeton, Apollo Management, DTCC and other relevant organizations are included in the session. The aim of these interviews is to evaluate the effects of tokenizing crypto assets on the financial markets and the names in the panel are expected to offer different perspectives.
Event Program and Participation Details
The meeting will take place between 13:00 and 17:30 US time; Participants will be able to follow the activity through live broadcast both on -site and on the SEC website. Those who want to participate on the spot have to register in advance.
In the opening speeches of the meeting, Crypto Task Force General Manager Richard B. Gabbert and SEC President Paul S. Atkins will evaluate other commissioners after his speeches. The meeting was planned as the third stage of Crypto Task Force’s event series, which was previously founded in January.

Participants can listen to the opinions of different institutions in the panels to be organized and get an idea about the transformations in the financial world.
