The 60% daily transaction increase recorded on Sui Network in the last 24 hours has drawn attention to this area again in the competition of Move-based blockchains. According to the data, Sui achieved one of the fastest performances of all time by completing 4.38 million transactions in just one day. The transaction efficiency of the network attracts attention with its block time of 79 milliseconds.
Liquidity and market capitalization comparison
While Sui’s total market value reached 4.11 billion dollars, its fully diluted value increased to 10.27 billion dollars. On the Aptos side, its market value is around $757 million and its FDV (fully diluted value) is $1.94 billion. The market cap ratio between these two chains runs approximately 5.4 to 1 in favor of Sui.
On the DeFi side, while the total value locked in Sui was 2.6 billion dollars, this amount remained at 1 billion dollars in Aptos. Looking at the last 24 hours, Sui’s transaction volume was at 175.6 million dollars, while Aptos’ transaction volume was limited to 20.4 million dollars.
Mini dictionary: Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) describes the theoretical total market value of a cryptocurrency when its total supply is multiplied by its market price. This value is formed by including all coins or tokens that have not yet been released into the market.
Since both networks work with the Move programming language developed by teams originating from Meta (former Facebook), they offer close technological infrastructure. But capital flows and user interest are gaining ground in Sui’s favor. As a result, Sui began to attract more liquidity within the ecosystem.
| Metric | Sui | Aptos |
|---|---|---|
| Daily Trading (24h) | 4.38 million | – |
| Market value | $4.11 billion | $757 million |
| Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) | $10.27 billion | $1.94 billion |
| DeFi Locked Value (TVL) | $2.6 billion | $1 billion |
| 24h Volume | $175.6 million | $20.4 million |

Token supply and price performances
Aptos recently revamped its token economic model, pegging the total supply at 2.1 billion, of which 39 percent (about 819 million units) are currently circulating in the market. In Sui, the amount in circulation is approximately 4 billion, and the total supply is limited to 10 billion, which corresponds to approximately 40 percent.
Considering the price performance of both chains, Sui is trading 80% behind its peak of $5.35. Aptos, on the other hand, is down 96 percent from its peak of $20.07.
Network advancement and ecosystem
Sui’s block time of up to 79 milliseconds makes the platform one of the fastest layer-1 networks. With both the rapid increase in the number of transactions and the low block time, Sui has stood out in terms of network size and development as we enter 2026. Additionally, both Sui and Aptos are competing within the Move ecosystem for developers and DeFi liquidity.
According to BSCNews, the Sui network has surpassed its competitors such as Sonic Labs and Waterfall DAG with the increase in daily transaction activity.
Although the proportion of tokens in circulation is similar on both chains, Sui’s larger market structure creates greater scope for institutional capital to enter the system.
According to experts, real transaction revenue and user retention metrics will be the key factors that will determine sustainable growth. For now, on-chain data indicates that Sui maintains its structural advantage over Aptos.
