We mentioned this week that Zach would share the robbery he was involved in with one of the cryptocurrency companies. Then the allegations flew and accusations were made against many stock markets. Now it’s clear who Zach was talking about. Here are the details.
ZachXBT Last Minute
ZachXBTalleges that one of Axiom Exchange employees, Broox Bauer (@WheresBroox), took advantage of a lack of access control on the company’s internal tools. Bauer benefited from using sensitive user information for insider trading by tracking private wallet movements.
in Axiom Explaining that he has been assigned to investigate allegations of abuse that have occurred, Zach then infiltrates a private conversation.
“Broox is a senior BD associate at Axiom, currently based in New York.
In the video, Broox claims that he can track any Axiom user via referral code, wallet or UID and “learn everything about that person.” He also explains that he initially investigated 10-20 wallets and gradually increased that number over time “to avoid suspicion.”
In a separate video from the same recording, Broox lays out the ground rules for requesting a search from him and then says he will send the full list of wallets.
In April 2025, Broox shared a screenshot from Axiom’s internal dashboard showing trader “Jerry”’s private wallets.
In August 2025, Broox, trader “MonixHe sent a second image showing “’s registration and linked wallets.
In August 2025, Broox looked at searches from Axiom users who traded with the meme coin “AURA.”
“Regardless of whether Cal or Mist were aware of this situation, there was virtually no monitoring or access control in place to prevent this abuse from occurring. The scope of data given to employees in an easily accessible dashboard is unusual in BD roles. This data includes the user’s entire list of wallets with date/time information, wallets they follow, transaction history, aliases of wallets, and associated accounts. Since Broox is headquartered in New York, this case could be a good opportunity for the SDNY, as this case may fall under their jurisdiction. Criminal prosecution “Whether or not it is filed, I hope Axiom’s founders investigate this misconduct further and consider taking legal action against the employees involved.”
