Solana (SOL) Is Better Than Ripple
Luke Judges, Ripple’s global partner leader and director, expressed his views on copying the Solana strategy, an issue that the community also noted. One of Ripple’s biggest competitors is Solana, and as a layer1 network, it is better than Ripple in almost every metric. He thinks that Solana’s operational success can also be a guide for Ripple and believes that its technical superiority alone does not work in the competition.
Judges is a veteran and has a lot of advanced technical experience in the Solana network. Being pragmatic and speedy in the midst of Layer1 competition Ripple’s He thinks it’s what he needs. In his last post he wrote:
“Most XRP users think I hate Solana because I work at Ripple. The truth is, most newcomers don’t know that I founded two startups in the Solana ecosystem and run a validator with over $30 million in stakes. Going through the process from $200 to $8 and back up again builds real confidence.”
Solana is far from perfect, the number of validators is currently falling rapidly, but of XRP It has a pragmatism and speed that it (and all other L1s) can learn from. There’s no point in burying your head in the sand pretending you’re the only blockchain in town. Ethereum

The ability to act strategically and keep up with trends quickly is Solana’s greatest strength. Ripple, on the other hand, is a network where most investors just invest in XRP Coin and expect it to rise. This is exactly why Solana is alive and why Ripple seems useless. Same thing with Cardano

Ripple is better than Solana
The other view within Ripple says the opposite of the above proposition. So there are also Ripple executives who say Ripple is better than Solana. What is interesting is that two opposing views can come to life within Ripple. David Schwartz, Ripple’s director of technology and also the technical architect of XRP Ledger, said: of XRP He emphasized that they did not need to copy Solana’s strategy, saying that the design philosophy focused on reliability, efficiency and enterprise-level performance.
David seems to be of the mindset that “we don’t want millions of active users, we just need to have enough corporate customers.” Schwartz is of the opinion that rival networks such as Solana accelerating speed and growth by sacrificing stability would not be a good thing for a network that will be a financial application infrastructure. According to Schwartz, XRPL’s consensus mechanism, consistent transaction certainty and near-zero fees make it from Solana makes it more attractive.
