Japan’s Liberal Democracy Party is on its way to making comprehensive changes in regulations on digital assets. Within the scope of the proposal, digital assets will be defined as a separate class of assets and this will be reduced to capital earning tax to 20 %.
Crypto asset arrangements
In the party proposal, crypto assets will be separated from securities and organized as a new class of assets. The proposal also foresees the introduction of the same tax application to crypto asset derivative transactions and on -site investment transactions. In addition, it is aimed to calculate the tax in the collectively translation of assets during the cash money in the exchange transactions between assets.
