In a latest update, the U.S. SEC acknowledged a spot XRP ETF filing from Cboe BZX Exchange for Bitwise to list and trade shares. The SEC has invited comments on the proposal, with a deadline 21 days after it is published in the Federal Register. After this period, the agency will decide whether to approve, disapprove, or initiate proceedings.
The SEC has previously acknowledge spot XRP ETF filings from 21Shares and Grayscale, but has yet to address the filings from Canary Capital and WisdomTree, leaving the crypto community eagerly awaiting their decision.
The XRP community is excited over the develoment, hoping it could lead to a price boost. Despite a current downturn, experts are still optimistic about XRP’s future growth.
